Bhaskarrao Karve Adhyapak Vidyalay
With its latest name, Bhaskarrao Karve Adhyapak Vidyalaya has a history of different names, reflecting evolving needs. In the year of its establishment in 1945, it was named 'Bal Adhyapan Mandir.' Subsequently, in 1949, it transformed into the Government Pre-primary Teacher Certificate Course. In the academic year 1993-94, it underwent another name change to 'Teachers' Training College Erandwana.' Initially, the qualification requirement was a 10th standard pass for the course, allowing teachers to instruct up to the 7th standard. Over time, the qualification criteria increased to a minimum of 12th standard with at least 50%. Similarly, a trained teacher is now capable of teaching from 1st to 8th standard.
